WHAT IS ENDODONTICS?

Endodontics is a specialized branch of dentistry that deals with the cause, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of disease of the tooth pulp, usually by the removal of the nerve and other tissue of the pulp cavity and replaced with a suitable filling material.

-Simply stated Endodontics is a procedure laymen refer to as

a root canal.
